In Alaska, we serve villages across the Diocese of Fairbanks, one of the largest dioceses in the world. Our mission here is to bring the joy of knowing Jesus Christ to all we encounter. We go there to be the Church in these remote villages, by visiting the elderly and home-bound in their homes, leading Catechesis with children, teens, and adults, and holding times of prayer in the church for all. Much of our time with the people there is about simply being with them - being Jesus Christ to them and serving Christ in them - amidst their daily lives.

There, you will experience the daily life and culture of the villagers, as you become friends with people of all ages. You will experience quiet prayer times with your fellow missionaries and times of prayer with the children as they pray the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet with us. You will experience the joy of bringing Communion to the sick and home-bound, of singing hymns with the villagers in their native language, and then enjoying some freshly caught salmon for supper at the generosity of the villagers.
